I was leary of this product but decided to give it a try and I'm very happy with it. I don't like the price, but after reciving and using it, I guess it might be worth the high cost. It's a very hard plastic so it's not going to flex or bend which is really important when carrying a hot container of water and noodles. I do wish it was bigger to hold 2 packages of ramen noodles to cook at the same time. The instructions are not to be believed, it says 2 minutes and that's just wrong. The water line is a more than it should be also, so I've cut back on the water used. Using a 950 Watt microwave, it took 6 minutes to cook ramen. One note I didn't catch initially is that you should not use the cover in the microwave so the first time I used the cover and every time after that, no cover. No effect on the cooking with or without a cover. The container is perfect for eating out of when the ramen is ready if you don't want extra dishes to wash. The container didn't stain either. The ramen I use has the chicken flavor packet and there is a yellowing color from the soup but it came off easily when I rinsed and washed it.
