I have been buying them since the 1970's. Problem is finding them. I used to get 4 gallon jars at a meat packing company, but they went out of business. Have found them off and on since. Found a local supermarket that had the 1/2 gallon size, but they sold to another company that does not carry them. Found the 1/2 gallons again, but I have to drive a long ways, and they do not always have them I stock. These Jalapeno's are that good that I go thru this much trouble to find them. They are always about the same heat, and they are not too hot. They are very firm and fresh and stay that way for a long time. If you like them hotter, then just put the jar in the pantry for a couple months and then try them. They do get hotter with time.
