This is one fine example of a quality product. The cons are mostly nit picks, but can be annoying based on need. The base, while heavy, won't quite allow for fully extending the lamp as far out as it can go. That's a shame. Also the switch on the power cord is not convenient for my use, though on a desk it would be fine. A switch on the bulb socket would seem to make more sense. I'm not sad I got it though.
