This really helps us monitor the puppies temperatures in their whelping environment without using a rectal thermometer. It helps us get quickly determine if they are too cold, too hot or doing just right. I recommend this to any breeder! Only caveat is the settings are calibrated for humans, not puppies — so knowing what a good low and high temp for neonates is very important (I often have to ignore the too low/high alarms). It also stops being able to accurately read temperature when their fur grows in thicker - but by that point they can regulate their temperature and temperature monitoring isn’t as critical.
