Youight be able to get it to a gooey consistensy if you soaked the book or paper it is on in water **Q: Will this product work to reinforce Bible that is coming apart?** A: This glue is used for bookmaking, therefore it should work as well or better than anything else. The glue will work, but I suggest you look online for exactly the technique needed to do the type of repair your Bible requires. **Q: Will this glue yellow over time? I want to use it to stiffen fabric for millinery and I don't want my pieces to end up yellow after a few years.** A: In my experience with the product it does not yellow.
