Review: Fixed my cruise control issue - 2011 GMC Yukon Denali - MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL IT CORRECTLY! - My issue was that the cruise control would work intermittently. In other words, sometimes pressing the button on the steering wheel would engage cruise control and other times it would not. After replacing this brake light switch, the cruise control has engaged 100% of the time, for over 1 month now! NOTE: When I first installed the switch, the brake lights were engaged 100% of the time, even when the vehicle was in park. This was NOT an issue with the new brake light switch being faulty! I ready many reviews stating many of these new switches were faulty, and the real issue may have been the installation was not done properly. To fix this, I removed the new switch from the brake pedal, and then reinstalled it until it attached properly. Another note, this is really an easy and inexpensive fix, don't be afraid to try it!

I bought a brake light switch for my 2011 GMC Sierra, and it’s working great. I didn’t have issues with the cruise control, but the Stabilitrak and traction control lights kept coming on while driving.
