I also like the auto shut-off. It is easy to flip the firm switch under the handle. I like that it is away from the handle (unlike others) as then turning it on or off is a decided movement, no accidents can happen there. Of all boilers I've known, this one is the easiest to use, safest for sure & a quality product. A rare find these days. I cannot say enough good about this unit.
