Is that normal?** A: The large silicone ring they sent loose has to fit snug to the back of the large metal ring part- it looks like you have to just push it over the smaller silicone collar that was already attached when it came out of the box. just push it over that collar and make it flush - then reinstall. if still loose then can you swap the collar for the other larger silicone ring/collar they gave you ? that is supposed to fit IN the drain hole and make things tight. **Q: Is it necessary to remove the existing stopper linkage or just disconnect the stopper?** A: I had the pull lever to use block drainage. It has multiple gaskets to fit most sink drains. Plus it looks nice. Good built quality. Great value.
