**Q: Is it required that MPS(non-chlorine shock) be used in conjunction with this product? or is it still beneficial when using only chlorine product?**
A: ive been using vision with chlorine for 13 years with no problem

**Q: Is the vision system as good or better than clorine for sanatizing?  been using dichlor for years...**
A: I have used the Vision system with similar favorable results, replacing it annually for the two years I have used it in my new tub. Unfortunately, the online price seems to have doubled this year, so I am looking for an alternate, or simply using more chlorine and/or changing water more frequently, both methods costing less than this Vision price increase (!). The Vision seems to contribute toward a very nice visual clarity and ‘sparkle’ to the water, at least for the first 8 months or so. I also have started using the recommended filter cleaner and rinsing at least x2 per year, now increasing to 3-4 changes yearly. I love clean water!

**Q: How is this different than the spa frog mineral cartridges?**
A: I have never used the Spa Frog product, but a quick Google tells me that Spa Frog puts minerals into the water. These Vision cartridges are very different, they are only silver pellets which clean the water and effectively reduce the chlorine usage to almost zero. I highly recommend these but you could try both to see which works best for you. The Vision cartridge needs to be replaced every 6 months while it looks like Spa Frog is every 4 months. Of course don't put both in at the same time.
