Heavy, noisy, almost like the IBM Selectric keyboard that I learned to type on way back when. I bought the one with cherry blue switches and although I wish the tactile feel was still just a little firmer (I have hams for hands and sausages for fingers) it is far and away better than the normal cheap computer keyboards. The keys have a nice long throw, the whole unit feels solid and the design with the switches surface mounted and keys extending up is interesting and draws lots of comments.I can barely type on my laptop keyboard any more since I've gotten used to this device.The LED lighting scheme seems a little simple compared to other gaming keyboards. The base rim color shades and key backlight modes can be changed by using function-keystrokes. I could not make any changes with either the Corsair color change software or with the Asus BIOS.The key backlights are white only but you can set it to display various flashing effects.But who cares, it is a great, solid keyboard and with a couple days of using this keyboard I am back up to my 80+ keystrokes per minute that I had in High School. Since my system is used far more for Word/Outlook than gaming, it works well for me and I'm glad I chose this model over some of the others on Amazon. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ my best keyboard *by V***N on Reviewed in the United States on June 1, 2018* really solid build, which is exactly what i wanted. I like that all of the fancy keyboard processing is done in the board itself, my only disappointment was that the LEDs under the keys are fairly weak if you are in a sunny place. it would be nice if they were high power RGB so you could match colors with the other LEDs. i can overlook this.oh yea, typing feels great too. im giving it four stars because it has an ugly windows icon as the super key and no replacement keys for it. this is an affront to us NIX elitists ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ... got the Cherry green switches and I am in love. Cherry greens put up more resistance than blues, which to me just makes them that much more satisfying to press. The lighting is excellent -- both the key lighting and the accent lighting. I like that I can change the accent color and/or make it rotate. The different key lighting animations you can select are fun too. I've been using the "ripple" effect, where a wave of light spreads out from each key you touch. It's excessive and silly, but I love it. If I get tired of it I can switch back to constant lighting, and adjust the brightness to match the lighting conditions in my apartment. The appearance of the white keys against the black body is also nice, and I even like the curved design of the body itself. Is it really worth $120?
