Eventually the elastic stretches, and not being handy, i can't fix it. This mask covers well and has a large/long swath of velcro that is on the same material as the mask. I can be restless as I sleep and have not had problems with the masking moving. I did have one morning where the velcro was slightly stuck in my hair. As they ask for reviews before you have had the product any length of time, I cannot say how it will hold up long term. Right now I am happy with it.
