Review: good mids and highs, lacking any low end. - sound pretty good, especially for form factor. I wanted to keep factory speaker locations in my 94 silverado so I needed these dimensions. I honestly expected more low end especially from jbl, but there is practically 0 even with an aftermarket deck. the small bluetooth speaker I threw on the dash previously had more low end lol. So expect to definitely need a sub to pair with these. other than that the sound is good

A: Some manufacturers stop adding protective grills to 4X6" and 6X8" speakers as most of them are being installed in factory locations that do not require grills. It is not our choice as sellers.
