Review: Love This ! Big and Functional ! - I received my XXXL Beach Blanket and I was impressed. We were surprised at how large this is since it packs down so small in its built-in carry pouch. As an expat living in Bahrain, we are surrounded by beaches and this comes in just super handy. Wife, Friends and I will use this often. Like the picture on the desertcart site, we tried this out on the beach here, spread it out, laid out our towels, filled the 6 pockets with sand to keep the blanket in place (Smart idea) and put our keys and cell phones in the zippered valuables pocket (again - Smart). The blanket keeps the sand from getting on our towels and works as described. What a great all around product. I can see this being just as great for camping, picnics, and for sporting/concert events. This product is and has: * Big and can fit a whole family * A built-in Storage Pouch * A zippered Valuables pocket * Very well built with Triple Stitching * Lightweight, Strong, Comfortable * 6 Sand Pockets not just 4 and stake/tiedown loops on the corners * Great color that looks stylish. I wouldn't call it a blanket, hence the 4 stars, because it is extremely thin. On the upside that thinness is what allows it to be so portable. Overall iI'm glad I purchased it, but like I said it is very thin so I would bring something more comfortable to sit on.

I have had my blanket for about a week now and my kids and I love it! I took my daughters to the park the other day to try it out on the grass and it made a perfect picnic spot. Super spacious, plenty of room for all three of us and our bags and a couple of toys. We've taken it to the beach and it's great. The sand really doesn't stick which is great because my kids haven't mastered the whole "don't kick sand on the blanket" thing yet! I love the zippered pocket for my keys! I also love that the blanket can be folded up and fit into a small pack so it's super easy to bring with you to the beach or the park! I've recommended this to a few friends and would to anyone who loves being outdoors! I love it!!
