I personally have done characters on 7 pairs, 5 kids and 2 adult pairs, so far and only my white is out ..because I also use that to lighten colors and primer so again it depends on the size of the shoe and the coverage **Q: Will this work on the outer soles? Such as amplifoam and rubber?** A: This paint is specifically made for “leather goods” things like shoes, jackets, belts, bags, wallets, furniture, etc. I would do a little more research just to make sure. The paint is good quality. However, the best paint is hands down a company called ANGELUS. They have everything you would need to restore a sneaker to the best way possible regardless of what material it make be. A lot of professional sneaker restorers use this paint. It’s more expensive, but you get what you pay for. All in all, if you’re restoring a small area this paint is fine…..if you have more restoring then just paint, look into ANGELUS.
