I don't see a need for it and unless it has an accelerometer in it, there is no other visible detection sensor. **Q: I have an issue that is when i operate the hot air there is no air comes out even if i increase the air speed and it make a noisy sound ?** A: I think there are 2 shipping hold down on the bottom of the unit that need to be removed and make sure the rubber tube is not kinked. The heating element is in the handle, check to see if it is getting hot. Note the air flow is not supper fast, it's like blowing lightly from your mouth. **Q: Is it UL listed?** A: I don't believe so. I see no UL certification on the unit or in the instructions. It still seems to be a well made unit. I have only had mine about a month but it has performed it should. I have not opened it to see what is inside or how safe it is. **Q: How fast does the soldering iron heat up?** A: It actually heats up really fast.
