Can you digest and topical usage?** A: Yes, absolutely,this product can be eaten, as is, or, you can put a level teaspoon, of it in hot water, or tea, and sip it. I, imagine you can use it topically-it does have antibacterial properties- although, as you know, because it's honey, it'll be a little messy. I usually eat it straight(about a small teaspoon), everyday, for it's anti-inflammatory effect. I have some arthritis, particularly in my thumb joints, and it helps reduce the inflammation. And, be aware that it does have some course black pepper in it, which helps to boost the effectiveness of the turmeric. I recommend it, if you're looking for an alternative to traditional ant-inflammatory medicines. (Also, a good immune system booster,as well!) For a definitive answer, I would check with the manufacturer! **Q: Hmm,what does it do?** A: Ginger and turmeric both counter free radicals. Ginger tea does work for my upset stomach.
