The surface of all beds is velvet finish polyester and is fully washable with a sponge or towel and any traditional fabric detergent. Construction of all AirCloud beds uses state of the art UHF (ultra high frequency) electroweld technology which assures long life and durable seam construction. The AirCloud surface cradles you in velvet comfort. It is difficult to stay awake when you lie down on an AirCloud bed. Bed firmness or softness is adjustable for each individual by means of the Power Control unit that is conveniently located at the side of every AirCloud bed. I spent way too many hours looking for a mattress to use as a guest bed for visitors. I needed something durable, with good support, and textured to hold the sheets in place and keep my guests from feeling like they were camping out on a cold vinyl mattress. I love the internal motor and it inflates within a minute or two. I love the large raised edges! It reinforces the support throughout the bed and keeps you even even if I rolled all the way to the edge I can sleep comfortably without the bed lifting up on the other side.
