They look very refined when serving tea or coffee to guests. They also have a very good capacity and can be washed in the dishwasher. In addition, the price is truly wonderful. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can you share if these are tested by a third party for lead content?**
A: Yes they are tested and free of lead and cadmium as well.

**Q: Is this oven safe?**
A: Yes they are oven safe.

**Q: Are these mugs porcelain or stoneware?  The description says porcelain however the title says both porcelain and stoneware which is not the same.**
A: I can't speak to the description on the page here in Amazon, nor have I dissected one of the cups to inspect the grain of the material, but according to the Mora site, they are made from Paladin clay, which is their own proprietary blend, making these purely ceramic mugs, non-cadium glaze, tested up to 1500F.    So is it stoneware or porcelain?  idk.  They don't say what temp it's fired at, and it's a composite clay.  I imagine if that blurb is in the text, then the composite clay is made of a mix of porcelain and stoneware clays.  I would assume it's effectively stoneware, or maybe a higher quality stoneware.

**Q: How tall are these cups? The description is a little confusing.**
A: They are 3-3/4 inches tall. They are great for my coffee in the morning. They hold 12 oz. with room for creamer. I really like them.

One of the best cup sets ever seen. Excellent quality and elegant colors that fit any kitchen, from the most modern to the most traditional. They look very refined when serving tea or coffee to guests. They also have a very good capacity and can be washed in the dishwasher. In addition, the price is truly wonderful. I loved it so much that I bought another set as a gift. In the future I will buy another one, perhaps in a different color palette to vary things.

Okay I have to be honest, I just love this brand. The packaging is very thoughtful. I first started with her backing pie dish. Moving to her mugs, these are very well made. Not heavy and not cheap feeling. I got the mixed color set. I am proud to say I have had them almost a year and not a single chip. Design and material is very thought out. I love this brand! Would make a great gift.
