On a scale of 0 to 10 and 10 being the worst possible pain, my feet pain was a 9.5 before I started this treatment! For me, one treatment of 15 minutes on setting 4 (beware the higher the number the more intense the shocks are!) I recommend starting out on a low setting and working your way up slowly.Because both of my feet are totally numb, but trust me when I say, I felt it at #4 very intense electrotherapy treatment! I actually struggled making it to the 15 minute mark, but the end result is being pain free for 6 days, then I must start the process over.IF your feet or legs are in pain, I highly recommend you buy this unit, follow my directions, as it is worth its weight in gold! :-) A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER OF THIS FOOT MAT!!!P.S. I tried to make it work but it did not. Next generation needs to allow for a larger foot. I keep knocking the device to make it work off the connection. It's placed in between my 2 large toes. Not to mention the fold on the mat doesn't allow for an easy connection. It works great but once you move it around, it breaks very easy.There was no visible damage either time, the unit would not turn on. Both times we left it on the charger overnight.
