My husband was using tv ears but they no longer worked for him, as his hearing keeps getting worse. They work much better that the tv ears because they block out all but the tv sound. I bought one for each tv because I can not put up with him having the tv turned all the way up. ### ⭐⭐ Two Stars *by T***G on November 28, 2014* They didn't work for us. Plug it in and loose the sound from the TV. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good sound but looses connection 40 feet from base station *by D***R on September 10, 2015* The two pack was exceptional value given that these sell for more than $100 per set in audio stores. The sound quality is good but not great, the comfort is acceptable, but I lose connection from the base unit in the bedroom furthest from the transmitter, about 40 feet. These headphones perform well in the other tasks for which we bought them. They allow one of us to listen to a bedroom TV without disturbing a sleeping partner, and the set in the living room is great when one appreciates loud music and the other does not.
