Can I just say that this product is a godsend? I had NO CLUE how filthy the top of my Jeep was ON THE INSIDE from driving around with the soft top back during the summer. I should have realized it, but I didn't until one early spring day when I put my top back and saw how disgustingly filthy the roll cage was.GROSS.So I ordered this product to make it easy to get on top of my Jeep to clean the roll cage off. I didn't want one of those steps that attaches to your door hinge because (a) those look tacky and (b) I take my doors off for the summer, which defeats the purpose. This product is easily installed and removed on the door latching hook on the Jeep so I can use it with my doors off AND uninstall it when I'm done. SUPER CONVENIENT.And it's pretty small so I can leave it in my rear storage compartment so it's available any time I need it.But now, let's talk about the construction of the product. It's surprisingly heavy! Which is a good thing because I don't want to feel like it's going to break when I'm standing on it cleaning my Jeep. It feels like solid steel and it's definitely not thin by any means. I'm not a large man (5'9" and 160 lbs) and this thing won't give out on me even if I weight an additional 100 lbs and grew a foot overnight.If you're in the market for a solidly constructed and temporary step for your off-roading vehicle that won't break the bank, this is the product for you!

Worked well with 2024 Toyota Rav4 and 1996 Toyota 4Runner. Feels a little strange standing on it the first couple of times, but I feel with some practice I will get used to it. Great price for this sturdy step.

Looks like a great idea and works really well... well, really, it's impressively strong and easy to use. But before you order this go look at the door latch placement on the vehicle you're buying it for. Turns out on my Yukon the latch is pretty high up and the step distance from running board to device is close to 2 feet, an uncomfortable and difficult stretch. That said, the device was solid and felt safe.

The is easy to mount and the step surface is stable and provides enough room for both feet.

These worked great for me and my husband. We both are short and carry stuff on top of our SUV . This makes it easier for us to reach properly. Not to mention I'm obese and it is super sturdy, holds well.

This is one of those products you cannot believe you did not invent (although the design on these is superior to what I would have envisioned). The footholds are very stable and allow us to get above the vehicle roof easily. They feel secure leaning over to tie down carriers or to wash the vehicle roof (although you have to be careful about soap and open doors). They stow away easily. We have not been bothered by them on our 2-day, 600-mile trip!
