No. The fan would have to be mounted on some kind of vibration isolation device for general vibration to be lowered, but if you have something sensitive to vibration, these might help. These particular pads are very heavy duty and designed for heavy equipment (I have my 400 lb air compressor mounted on them); you need to match the design to the weight you're putting on them. For lighter things the sorbothane pads might be better. **Q: would it stop vibration from floor to bed frame** A: I am still building my compressor shed. I have not installed my compressor at this time. I think it would work unless you have an unusual amount of floor vibration. **Q: Do these smell bad?** A: Yes, they smell like gasoline to me.
