The ad on Amazon states clearly that this is Borosilicate Glass. However the word Borosilicate is NOWHERE to be found on the actual product labeling. In fact , it only says "Body - glass" . The original Pyrex® were made of Borosilicate and really could withstand the abuses of both kitchen and lab. We purchased these items based in part on the idea that we were getting that type of material - now we're not so sure.
