It will make life so much easier. I think I use a 1/2 inch socket on an 3/8 in hex socket extension. Better yet, you can just use a 1/2 in nut driver to get the job done.The instructions are great and straightforward. Also, I would suggest using your stud finder and marking each stud on the wall you are using to install the shelf. Then mark the level or distance from the floor that you want the shelf to be. Then take your leveler and mark a line on the wall going the distance of the shelf. Then use use there template and mark the drill holes where the stud are located.I have put a lot of junk and some heavy stuff on those shelves and it is holding on great.
