My system sounds delightful. The option to switch between production and DJ bass on the back of the speakers really makes a difference. The DJ option gives a warmer analogue feel to digital tracks. The sound from these speakers is lovely and full bodied. I previously had a BOSE setup with woofer, which was good, but really dated having purchased them over ten years ago. Buying these came with questions at the beginning. Would they provide the same level of deep bass I was used to from the Woofer? Would it all be difficult to adapt to, because what was once shaking the walls, is now just tinny and confined into two 5' speakers? Would I end up going back to the Bose's, because I had been firmly programmed to accept music that way and now the thought of losing that extra drone would fail to satisfy? None of that mattered. I was amazed at how much the tech had obviously moved on upon testing and how good these speakers were. The sound from them far exceeded my expectations and I threw the Bose's out. Due to the high quality soundcard in the DJ controller I own, everything sounds epic, even MP3s of medium to high quality.
