It smells freshly brewed for some time even after opening. The seal on the bag is fairly good so you can close it properly. That being said, it is quite hard to tear and I have found that scissors are always required. Ive tried the coffee in a french press and a real coffee machine and each time it comes our strong (how I like to make it), robust, delicious and with no acidic after taste.
