3M(TM) VHB(TM) Heavy Duty Mounting Tape 4950 is a white, 0.045 in (1.1 mm), general purpose adhesive with firm foam that has the added feature of high temperature resistance. This tape has been converted from 3M VHB Tape 4950.

## Features

- Special Feature: chemically resistant bonding tape is UV and temperature stable, engineered to withstand fluctuating heat and cold. The viscoelastic foam core tape is flexible and allows the use of thinner, lightweight or dissimilar materials

Glad I returned this. Fine for inside projects, but will quickly deteriorate when exposed to the elements. Its not all that people are cracking it up to be.

But you have to research and prep first. Works excellent, make sure surfaces are super clean ( see 3M for more info on prep). Be sure it is exactly where you want it because once it's be down, it's down. You can use fishing line and gloves to pull it up but it leaves a mess to deal with. Do your research because 3M make many VHB tapes for different applications, and yes it makes a huge difference.
