**Q: Other than versatility, is there a difference in performance/intensity/reach between the zip-apart and the one piece mat?**
A: Hello. The intensity of the zip-apart mat and the other mat sets is the same. The spikes are identical. There is more reach with the regular mat sets because the number of spikes on the mat plus the pillow exceeds the number on the zip-apart mat. The large mat set has the greatest reach, with a larger mat and larger pillow.

**Q: Is the covers removable?**
A: The covers on the Kanjo Acupressure Mat and Pillow are removable and can be spot cleaned with water and mild soap. Thank you for your question and your interest in Kanjo products!

**Q: do you use it with or without clothing?**
A: Use the Kanjo Mat Set with clothing until you acclimate to it. Once you are comfortable it is safe to use on bare skin.

**Q: Will i get hurt if i fell asleep on this mat for hours?**
A: No, it actually feels better the longer you're on it. HOWever, if you shift positions, it will be prickly and wake you up. But, what I do is, simply throw it on the floor and go back to sleep. One time I got a wee scrape on my elbow by grazing against it trying to get into position. No big deal. I have a friend who often falls asleep on his mat for hours at a time. It's really helping with his migraines.

My kids refer to this as “mama’s spike mat”. Haha. They have all tried it out for a couple of minutes but don’t see the appeal. I, however, am in love! It definitely is pretty pokey and stingingly painful- at first. But soon it just starts making me melt into the floor. I have ADHD primarily inattentive type and find it really hard to be in the moment or still my mind. This is as close as I get. It’s great for working out knots or stiffness, or just for unwinding after a long day on my feet. The other day I was doing a full day of training. After 9 hours in the wrong shoes my feet, knees, and back felt broken. I immediately pulled the mat and pillow out and within 15 minutes I felt like I’d just left an hour long massage. Just loose and completely relaxed! The best part is I bought it with leftover FSA funds I needed to spend down! Win win!
