The plastic seems to be fairly strong, at least for ther actual connection. I did not see any molding issues. Overall it seems to be a well made connector. I guess it's a standard. Changing my rating from *** to ****; I still don't like the cord strain relief's limited range.[Feb2022 Original review]Generally, I like this connector, but mine arrived with pins 12 & 13 inserted to a different projection than the others, and then soldered to the PCB.I was able to clamp the connector in a vise, heat the pins' junctions at the PCB, and leave the soldering tip on the pins a few seconds longer than needed to solder, while pushing on the pins from the pin side, to push them back "down" to the same height as the others.I don't like having to rework parts right out of the box.Other than that, it seems a nice connector set. The strain relief looks like it is supposed to work, but it won't come close to gripping the cable I installed. Whether due to my cable's smaller diameter or not, I don't think this strain relief would actually work on a larger cable. I glued my cable to the ID of the strain relief.
