With equivalent speeds and timings Trident Z is no faster than a $25 Nanya stick. Where this Trident Z shines is overclocking. DDR4-3000 with a CAS latency of 14 can only be the legendary Samsung B dies. I've gotten 3866 MHz stable with an identical set. If another new, unopened, set becomes available, buy it. I hit 4000 MHz @19-19-21 with no extra cooling and under 1.51 volts. And G. Skill's limited lifetime warranty has your back if the RAM fails (barring physical damage from abuse, etc..). There are plenty of guides online for overclocking memory. Read the cautions FIRST.
