I’m an artist, but I have pretty bad arthritis in my hands and have trouble grasping things especially if I need to use them for a while. The amazing design allows me to use this with every size paint brush all pens and even my Apple Pencil. Not only can I grip thing but it also gives me great control over what I’m using. And my hands are pain free. I highly recommend and will be ordering another for myself. Review: Holds pen well, heavy, squishy, but pricey - I have arthritis in my thumb joint so writing w/a fat pen helps. No device has been perfect, but this is one that helps, if alternated w/other different-sized devices (smaller egg-shaped styrofoam; molded silicone). This one is bigger, but it's also heavier, which means that I don't have to press as hard to write. When you use a gel pen along w/it, you hardly have to press down to write. That's a big help. The pen can shift around in the slot, which is good for changing the angle of writing, to give muscles a rest. I think the price is ridiculous, though--$13 for a lump of silicone.
