So I decided to wash it. 5 washes later, the smell just won't leave. I have soaked it overnight in vinegar then in baking soda, and even hung it out in the sun, but the smell won't leave. It is not an easy smell to adjust to either, it smells like petrochemicals. I don't know what to do to get it out and doubt I can return it after the multiple washes.
