**Q: where is this made?**
A: To Gwen: You'd be hard-pressed to find ANYTHING made in the U.S. anymore. But if not China, you'll notice Vietnam, Mexico, Indonesia, Guatemala etc.  Sad but true.

**Q: Does anyone know how to remove the popcorn odor after use? I hand wash the bowl really well with dish soap but doesn't remove the odor.  Ugh!**
A: One of the BEST deodorizers is plain, whole coffee beans. Toss some inexpensive whole beans in the popper, add the lid and leave for a day or two. That should remove "popcorn smell". 
I keep a stash of coffee beans to deodorize empty coolers, refrigerator, new plastic storage tubs, etc. & they are reusable!

**Q: I tried to repopulate kernels that didn’t pop in batch and burned the bottom of the container.  Will this affect performance’**
A: (Directions say you can pop the unpopped kernels.  I tried it and not one of them popped.)  I have also burned a batch in the past.
I would say that while the performance will not be affected, the burned container will affect the taste.  I threw out the burned one and ordered another.

**Q: Does mushroom popcorn work in this**
A: All varieties of good-quality, fresh popcorn work well in the Popco microwave bowl. That includes mushroom popcorn. And for those who were wondering, mushroom popcorn refers to a type of corn that pops into big fluffy popcorn with a particular round shape. Many people like it for caramel corn because the shape is fun and the flavor is good, but others dislike it because it tends to have tough hulls that can annoy sensitive gums and the (ahem) other end of the digestive tract.

This has made popcorn popping so easy! You just put in some popcorn kernels, pop on the lid and throw it in the microwave and hit the popcorn setting (or equivalent depending on your microwave). Out comes nice fresh hot popcorn ready for butter or whatever topping you want. You can eat it right out of the container. I have several air poppers and the popcorn is always chewy and stale textured with them, but this popper has perfect textured popcorn. Light and fluffy with more kernels popped and less waste. I really recommend!

It's great! I was skeptical about buying it, I mean...such a simple thing, how could it work so good? But it was perfect. The instructions didn't say to use the popcorn button my microwave, but I did anyway. It popped almost every kernel and no burning. I was amazed. I didn't put butter or oil in though. I drizzled some butter on it after I transferred the popcorn to other bowl. Really impressed on how well this worked.
