Mercruiser starter Solenoid. It works perfectly with only a minor, simple modification of the mounting bracket . (Hole centers were slightly off needing only 1 new hole drilled on the engine bracket only. A very easy mod.) The Solenoid body itself is an exact match for the OEM and works flawlessly at a price that is literally 10 times less than what the Manufacturer charges. ## Features - Replacement Part Numbers: 24022005, SMR6001, 89-96158T, 8996158T, 89-96158, 8996158, 89-94318, 8994318, 89-846070, 89846070, 89-818864T, 89818864T, 67-712, 67712, 240-22005 - Condition: New; Voltage: 12V; Unit Finish: Same as OE; Number of Pieces: 1; Country of Origin: CN - Includes 1/4-20 Threaded Battery & Motor Terminals & 8-32 Threaded Ground And Switch Terminals - Exceeds Sierra 18-5816 In Corrosion Resistance - Flat Bracket 5.1 Ounces 4 X 2.6 X 2.3 Inches - All Items Tested For Reliability, Durability And Performance - See Product Description for Additional Specifications ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00UJRH0LQ | | Assembly Required | No | | Brand | Parts Player | | Country of Origin | USA | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (398) | | Date First Available | 28 May 2021 | | Item Dimensions LxWxH | 6.6 x 6.6 x 6.4 Centimeters | | Item Weight | 136 g | | Item model number | Mercury Marine | | Manufacturer Part Number | PP67-712 | | OEM Part Number | 89-818864T, 89-846070, 89-94318, 89-96158, 89-96158T, 240-22005, SMR6001, 67-712 | | Product Dimensions | 6.6 x 6.6 x 6.35 cm; 136.08 g | | Voltage | 12 | ## Images ![OEG Parts New Marine Starter Tilt Trim Relay Solenoid Compatible With MerCruiser 89-96158T Compatible With Mercury & Mariner Outboards 35 to 275 HP Starters and Trim - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/618o4TT4JqS.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by G***Y on 13 August 2025* Works great with my mercury inboard outboard engine ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by D***. on 12 July 2024* This solenoid replaced a bad 350 Chev.
