## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are these enzymes sourced from mold?**
A: There can be a lot of confusion around this question.  Enzymes are not "made of" or "grown on" mold. And there’s zero residual, at least for our brand - it’s highly tested and screened for.  All vegetarian enzymes that aren't derived directly from food (such as pineapple & papaya) are produced by strains of mold. So that you know, it's not unique to ours, but it would be true for all brands. We strain and filter ours and test them after production for mold so there is no contamination potential.  HoloZyme is dual-strain (meaning two different types of molds are fed and stimulated such that they "burp out" the enzymes we want). Then, we have a 4X straining and filtering system. It's done in the US by a pharma-based enzyme maker. We serve really sensitive people with MCAS/histamine intolerance and many other sensitive people in the world who are dealing with mold toxicity and a myriad of other challenging root causes, and they work for 97% of those people.  If you have any concerns that you may not respond favorably or are very sensitive in general, we recommend opening the capsule to start with just a tiny sprinkle on your food.  You can reclose the capsule and save to use again at each meal.  This low and slow approach helps even the most sensitive people onboard HoloZyme and build up to one or more capsules per meal with great results.

**Q: how fast do they take to work?**
A: Since we have the AES activation patent, each capsule is ready to work the moment you swallow it.  Most people notice something in the first meal.  If you don't then you'll want to increase the number of capsules till you do notice something with each meal.  Every digestive tract is different so you may need 1-6 capsules per meal to find the relief you seek.

**Q: Is there fish in these supplements? Mine smell fishy**
A: It's entirely normal, we use a small amount (15mg) of wild harvested kelp powder for it's amazing micronutrient profile, sometimes this causes the bottle to smell a bit "fishy".

**Q: are these animal based enzymes?**
A: There are zero animal based ingredients in this product it is fully vegetarian and vegan.
