Idk where they got Lulu loves steak from at all! Lulu loves noodles! You are correct! **Q: Do you have any other characters that talk?** A: Not yet. But, I would like to get them all eventually. **Q: Is it washing machine safe?** A: I do not know for sure. However, since it has batteries and electrical components to make it talk, I would not immerse in water, even if batteries are out. However, you probably could use a damp cloth or wipes used for cleaning. We have not had to clean Lulu yet but I know that time will come. My granddaughter loves her Lulu. **Q: Is lulu activated when arrived?
