I lay my top piece on first, pick it up and apply the under side with the very little strands of natural hair it picks up, sandwiched in between. I then hold my flat iron on it for a few seconds then let it cool. Every 10 days or so I retap with heat to prevent slippage. There’s the occasional slippage around the 4/5 week mark, but if you take care of them and tap the tapes with heat every couple weeks, they don’t slip too bad. Wearing extensions for a couple of years, I’ve had my fair share of problematic tapes, if you know what to do, they’re not as damaging as others. Repeating heat on my natural hair until the glue is out. I use a mixture I make of olive oil and rubbing alcohol to remove residue. It’s a learning process!
