The material is so silky and beautiful. I love how it came as one huge piece since I need large pieces for my wedding dress. Luckily, one order came in one long piece, but the second one came in two pieces. We were able to work with it, but Caveat emptor!Originally wanted white, but they were out. I don't think the difference between the ivory and white was too noticeable, especially out-of-doors.It's as sheer as expected for the fabric type, and it worked beautifully for the swags for my niece's wedding. Great Fabric for a canopy!!! *by B***. on Reviewed in the United States on June 15, 2018* This fabric is great for making a canopy for your bed!!! I looked thoroughly through amazon and decided my best bet would be to make a canopy rather than buy one. This is the cheapest priced fabric I found on amazon and it worked great for a canopy!! It is the perfect amount of sheer and it’s quite silky! I bought 6 yards and it was the PERFECT amount for a twin bed that hang from a 8 ft ceiling with still extra amout touching the floor. If you want this to make a canopy for a larger bed then get 9 ft of fabric at the least. I got my 6 yards folded nicely in a plastic bag and you just need to in fold the whole thing (be careful not to rip it) the shorter side will be your length from ceiling to floor and longer side to drape around the bed. I recommend to use a fabric adhesive in a glue gun to hem material around a large sturdy ring. And the in cut ends will be sealed so you don’t have to hem them and the cut sides you should hem with a sewing machine to prevent fraying.
