But given that you can use it over and over again, it's not a bad time investment. Pulling the hair strands through is not that bad unless you have very sensitive scalp. I suggest using a thin metal crochet hook, not a thick plastic one. Also, it is helpful to straighten the hair, because if you have curly or very wavy hair, it will most likely tangle as you pull it out and it can hurt you and damage your hair. Because the cap surface has bumps where the holes are located, it's fairly easy to find them with your fingers and you don't really need to use multiple mirrors to ensure that you don't skip any. If you have someone else at home at the time, ask them to look through the back of your head to see that you didn't miss any. The holes are not distributed evenly throughout the surface of the cap, but that works great for me.
