I just need to know if I can leave it outside without everything getting soaked.** A: I glued little round magnets (available on Amazon) under the rim and on top of the lid using silicone cement. This keeps the lid from blowing open. Place four magnets under the rim near the handle and near the corners. The wet cement holds them in place. Place magnets on the outside of the lid under the handle. Let them find their matching magnets to show you the location, then glue them on at that location. Cover each magnet with silicone cement to make them weatherproof. **Q: Is the lid removeable?** A: I bought this for my son...the lid sure didn't appear to be "removable"....and the trash men ended up getting it....I wrote to the company about this but heard nothing back.
