These items are painted in bold colors to add beauty to your child's bicycle. Most bicycle baskets are woven in a way you would make a decorative basket, one that you would use in your home as an accent piece. The problem with this is that this type of weave is not conducive to use in bicycle baskets, which serve a functional purpose and are used on a daily basis. The everyday wear-and-tear, as well as the natural elements on these bike baskets necessitate that they be woven in a tougher, stronger method. Our unique rolled rim weave ensures the baskets will hold up to the demands of everyday bike use. The Nantucket Bike Basket Company specializes in unique, hand-crafted baskets for your bicycle. Made from high-quality materials using durable weaving techniques, Nantucket Bike Baskets are made to last, while giving your bike that classic look. ## Features - Painted in bright colors to match your personality and add some fun to your bicycle! - Woven from high quality, durable rattan - Attaches to handlebars with 2 adjustable leather straps, designed especially for children's bicycles - Weight limit of 8 pounds - 10" (L) x 7.5" (W) x 7.5" (H) ## Images ![Nantucket Bicycle Basket Co. The basket fits perfectly between both handle bar grips and doesn't interfere with turning or the functionality of the scooter controls. I did have to remove the plastic light dome on the front of the scooter so that the basket would sit flat. The only minor issue was one of the leather strap metal brads fell out when securing the strap to the handle bars. Instead of going through exchanging the basket just to get a new strap I used super glue to refasten the brad and applied glue between the both leather sides and it's as good as new. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nicely made, works for an adult. *by Z***G on Reviewed in the United States on April 24, 2016* Bought this for my wife's knee walker after she had foot surgery. It is compact and very nicely made. After she recovered I transferred it to her bike. Perfect for an iPhone and small purse or wallet when she is out and about on the bike. Not grocery sized at all but we have bike bags for that. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ High Quality! Love it! *by M***G on Reviewed in the United States on January 28, 2020* Item and color arrived as pictured. Basket fits securely on the bike bar. My 10 year old has had the purple Nantucket basket on her bike for 3 years and it has held up exceptionally through falls, rain, and sun. Our new pink basket is perfect on my other daughters bike. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/3903900-nantucket-bicycle-basket-co-buoy-and-gull-collection-childrens-d](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/3903900-nantucket-bicycle-basket-co-buoy-and-gull-collection-childrens-d) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
