I like those high straight sides and the solid stainless lid is clean, safe, and functional. The product photos DO hide an impotant detail of the bottle; that being it is not a single peice of molded steel. Instead it seems to have been made in 2 parts. the bottom seems to be like a stainless plug that was welded into place visible on the inside but not the outside. It is not a pleasing look, but i am sure it is the reason that this stainless bottle is so easily affordable unlike other brands such as clean kanteen.I have not put liquids into my bottles. I bought them specificaly to hold certain recipe ingredients that are best kept stored in the freezer or refrigerator such as seeds, and yeast. In this capacity they serve with excellence. The tall slim shape allows me to place many side by side and the pull handles allow easy removal when i need them.
