In spite of removing the mothballs and opening all the windows the smell was horrendous even after 3 days of airing it out. It actually burned my eyes and throat. I purchased 2 of these bags (I should have gotten 3 bags for the square footage). My brother put one bag of the Smelleze mothball odor remover in the main area and second just outside the bedroom with all windows open and the furnace fan blowing.
