Review: Exactly what it needs to be - It's big, solid and heavy. By that I mean it's a solid piece of metal that shouldn't break, bend, twist or snap, if you use it as intended. Single bevel, so perfect edge for lefties. The blade I have is not 100% straight/flat. If you look down the edge, you can see a slight bump in the middle. Doesn't affect the sharpness, and isn't big enough to cause the tool to wander or cut un-evenly. But it is there. It was obviously hand-sharpened, and they rounded the tip off a bit so it's not like a razor point. Very thin and flat, could be difficult to pick up off a work-table. The plastic tip protector is nice, and I'm sure to use it since it's so sharp. After I wear down the edge, I'll probably trim the metal back a bit to make a perfectly straight cutting edge, and then sharpen it. I'm going to see how dangerous it is with a full point. Overall, great tool for lefties
Review: Amazingly Sharp - The hollow ground blades have now been used on 100 year old mahogany, black limba, white oak, hard maple, and now ash. While it took me a while to get used to left hand and right hand blades, the thing that really makes the design superior is "bevel up" vs "bevel down" use. Single bevel blades are a game changer. As far as the materials... FLAWLESS. As far as the Craftsmanship... FLAWLESS. Excalibur meets Katana under a Lightsaber moon. I like it!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great value
*by P***H on October 7, 2026*

I am a pro carpenter and woodworker that is an admitted blade snob. I bought two right handed and one left handed examples of these at the same time. Two of them where sharper than most factory out of the packaging. The other one was the sharpest factory blade I've run across. All three where blades I would feel comfortable shaving my face with after a few minutes honing them beyond factory sharp. I do wish the body of the blade was a bit thicker, for prolonged use the blister factor is very real. A version with real handel scales would be great. I'm going to make my own soon to be able to put in hours with these blades.
