It is thin but not shockingly so, and my little one does wear a full pajama set so he stays warm. It’s also breathable and lightweight which is perfect for those kids who like to sleep with blankets on their faces. The value for what you get is easily justifiable. They wash easily and are easy to care for. The whole set is so cute too and my little guy absolutely loves it. I admit, I was skeptical about this set when I took it out of the packaging - it felt a little flimsy. After almost a year of use, however, I really like it - it's held up to a lot of washing, and the material is very soft and breathable. The blanket keeps my toddler warm on all but the coldest nights (20s or below) - on those nights we just add a fleece blanket between the sheet and the comforter and he's fine. He loves the train print and frequently asks to sit in his crib and play trains with the tracks on the fitted sheet. Very nice set - shows almost no wear and tear after a year.
