I wanted to punch Xander since the beginning but by the end I wanted to hug him. I took one star just because of Xander because no matter what his relationship with Kim was, he knew to some extent what she was going through daily and instead of just ignoring her or make it better, he just made it worse by saying awful things so I don’t forgive him for that. However I can understand why he did it, his actions had awful consequences. Cried a couples times in this one and I didn’t think I would.I loved Kim from the beginning and I hate the person who thinks it’s her mother. She’s a awful human being and I so wanted her gone! 😤Kim went through so much and even though she hit rock bottom , she was always the strong one. I admire her for her strength.Xander was so lost since he found his father secret and his solution for filling his void was not the best solution. In fact it was helping him dig his grave . Check Your Triggers & Enjoy! *by S***O on Reviewed in the United States on 28 July 2024* God of Wrath is my diehard favorite from the Legacy of Gods series, so it's no surprise to me that this is my favorite from the Royal Elite series. I DEVOURED this book. Couldn't read it fast enough - I don't quite know if that's a good thing, seeing as as how it was over entirely too soo. That's my only complaint... I wanted more.I procrastinated for so long about reading this series. That was dumb. Having read LOG first, I didn't think it would be possible to like this series any better. Now I'm stuck wondering which is better. I honestly can't answer to it. Aside from Cruel King (didn't care too much for that one), I've absolutely plowed through these books in rapid fire succession. While none of them are a masterful piece of fiction, they are, deliciously, a darn good time. There is, however, no question when it comes to rereading these somewhere down the line. I most definitely will. Heck, I might even toss CK into the scenario just to see if it hits differently (better) the second time around.If you're just looking for a fun reading experience - a good bully romance series to escape into, look no further. Check your trigger warnings, especially on this one. Dive in.
