I live on the central coast of CA and the water here is extremely hard, smells of sulphur and chlorine and makes my skin dry and itchy. Upon first usage I noticed a dramatic difference in the quality of my hair and skin. The smells were also no longer noticeable. The only complaint I have is that some of the filters don't last more than 3 months and others for a little more than that and I shower on average every other day so I'm not sure how long it would last if I were to shower every day. Also, the filter isn't easy to remove from the holder to replace it. I have to detach the entire filter unit from the shower pipe then use my feet and hands to detach the filter from the holder. I have to apply force with my feet against the holder and hold on to the filter at the same time in order to detach the filter. That's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. It's easy to install, just not easy to replace a new filter, at least it hasn't been for me. Overall, it's a great filter to use especially if you're experiencing problems with the water quality. I wish it made the water more soft like a softener or whole house filtered water unit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ WOW~!!
