So, you must tie the pillows down, but chances are it won't be sturdy enough for a wild sleeper or anyone that rolls over several times during the night. My house guest rolled over and two of the ties ripped off causing the pillows to move all over the bed while she slept. I requested replacement pillows immediately and those were replaced. Each cushion should be made with four ties to secure it in place, but I guess it's no futon no sense in trying to make it one. I'm sure these cushions will eventually tear too, so this isn't a long term solution bed by any means.- It's not a twin size bed, so there's really no sheet for it.
