I thought the cooling thing was gonna be marketing BS, but they genuinely feel a bit cool when you put them on (I got the black ones and obviously in direct sun they absorb heat and feel hot). I obviously can't measure their UV absorption levels, but my tattoo didn't feel prickly like it did when the hot sun touched it a few times before so I guess I will take their word for that.
