When your current Director's Chair starts to look a bit ragged, simply update it with a new replacement cover kit. The seat and back covers are hand washable and constructed from heavy duty duck cotton canvas. Safety Warning For safe use, do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 225 pounds. Hand wash only and avoid exposure to mildew. Ensure product is completely dry before use.

It promised delivery on three different occasions but then when I try to get information and there was none! However it finally arrived and contrary to what a lot of the negative reviews said, it fit fine without having to wet it and stretch it. It was a bit of the tight fit getting the dowels in place, but nothing like getting the old ones out! And the top/back fit fine also, although I did have a little bit of trouble putting one of the sides over the post, because it was quite the tight fit and seemed to be slightly different than the other side? I don't know about the longevity or the color fastness, but it's not intended for outdoor use, and the fabric seem to be nearly as thick if not as thick as the canvas that had been on that chair for over 20 years, that finally dry rotted. I would definitely buy these again if I were in the market, but for now I'm set, and I'm fairly happy except for the ridiculous shipping scenario, which they need to get a handle on if they want to stay in business. There was no excuse for it, and none given!

**Q: my red and blue seats arrived and they are each 18 x 16 not 20 x 16 - am I supposed to try to stretch them to fit the 20 inch seat?????**
A: Anyone still wondering about the size--read the description--it says seat bottom is 18" and the seat back is 20".I replaced the material for two chairs from two different suppliers. The first one said wash with mild soap and install wet, then the seat bottom will stretch more easily. I ordered Navy blue and got purple and purple isn't even listed.

**Q: Do these have the wooden rod that slides into the chair or is it a flat wooden stick that slides in?**
A: They use a wooden rod.

**Q: how wide are both pieces? My chair needs 19" seat by 20.75" back.**
A: Yes it would fit your chair.  It also came with the round rods which slide down the grooves for the seat. I did buy some other covers some time ago and they were way too big and came with flat rods which were OK but obviously not the correct type but these were a perfect fit. Hope this helps.

**Q: Does the seat replacement have a wood flat fowl that stretchess**
A: Mine came with round wooden dowels that fit the chair perfectly.
